To Provide

Is not Manhattan the crown of the financial world?
Was not the Manhattan project, the crown of world dominance in war?
The Manhattan project brought something far more pervasive to this earth than just a bomb. The world’s first computer was built to PROVIDE storage for all the data needed to build the worlds first nuclear weapon. The computer was so large, that it took 2 warehouses full of hardware, and was referred to, by the scientists involved, as “the Beast”.
You need to realize that nuclear weapons, literally, PROVIDE the same power as the stars.
While the United States of America determines its destiny is in peace, it used the most violent weapon imaginable against its enemy.
The devastation of Nagasaki and Hiroshima is quite evident, and has, for all intense purposes, shown the world what great “wrath” that this weapon of mass destruction PROVIDES.
That shock on August 6th was felt around the world. It abruptly ended World War 2, and shut down the “Rising Sun” (Japan) It also started a chain reaction that would change the course of history.
The computer evolved.
What once took 2 warehouses of space, within decades, was shrunk into a tiny object that could easily fit into the palm of your hand. Today, with nanotechnology, we find that there is more computing power in 1 laptop than there was in those 2 warehouses back on that desert sand, at the Los Alamos research facility.
While Orson Wells surely brought the “Big Brother” concept to life in his book “1984”, he left out a small idea that would eventually become so large, that it would eventually threaten to reduce mankind to mere numbers; A veritable inventory, a product and a possession.
The computer now PROVIDES…
As world economies fail and numerous reasons are stacked higher and higher, why animals, products and people should be tracked, we find that computer technology “PROVIDES” answers to all these issues. Tracking released convicts, child molesters, infants, pets, cattle, store inventories, diabetics’ blood glucose levels, medical records and even bank accounts are all being tracked and kept watch over by a simple little device; A microchip. RFID. (Radio Frequency Identification Device) The microchip is tiny. It is smaller than a grain of rice. It has been fitted with a tiny transmitter that can send out a radio frequency wave of the information it holds. Radio frequency (RF) scanners pick up this information from over 75 feet away now. This chip has been implanted under the skin of your cats, dogs and cattle for a couple decades now. Your humane society knows when they find your pet. Ranchers keep immunization records for each animal on their farm, from “cradle to grave”. Although this device has generally, up to this point, been imbedded into a collar for infants and convicts and those under house arrest, there is an unrelenting push to transition to imbedding them under the skin of humans.
Many people argue that this is the greatest invention to come from the computer age and accomplishes (or “PROVIDES”) a great many good works, such as: keeping track of convicts, assuring that your newborn infant is not confused with another in a hospital nursery, allowing, for the first time ever, for diabetics to no longer have to prick their fingers to monitor their glucose levels, assuring that the product that a shoplifter tries to walk out of the store with, sets off an alarm, relieving ranchers from the paperwork and filing nightmare of records for hundreds of thousands of cattle, sheep, pigs and the like. It can aid police when your grandparent, who has Alzheimer’s, wanders off. It is the heart and soul of the “Lo-Jack” system that the police use to find your stolen vehicle. People in Mexico can now go to the bar and have their drink tab electronically kept and the charges are magically dealt with through EFT transmission.
Every time you go to the store and purchase a product, watch the cashier scan your product’s barcode. This is the precursor of what is to come. Soon, there will be no more barcodes. Soon, all you must do is swipe your implanted chip under the scanner on the counter and your bank account will be automatically charged. No more cash. No more credit cards. No more remembering PINs.
Hospital triage rooms along the east coast have already been set up with the RF scanners for this. All new passports issued since last year have a chip imbedded into them. The driver’s licenses are also beginning to be made with them. Your cell phone has one.
There has been much debate over this technology.
It has been argued that it is the dreaded “Mark of the Beast”, by Christians.
But, so has many other devices over history. So WHY is this device any different?
Possession.
Once implanted, it cannot be easily removed and can even greatly harm you if it is damaged during removal. Once you allow yourself to be “chipped”, your body, in essence, becomes a part of this system.

Then there is the issue of trust.
Remember what your dollar bill states? “In God we trust”.
Let this be a gentle reminder to you. When the day comes that the US Dollar is made obsolete and our national currency is moved to an all electronic media, that statement will disappear as fast as most people will consider me a lunatic for writing this. Be that as it may. But while you may scoff at the message in this letter, you might be well served to consider that quietly, this technology has been born of the computer, which was created for and originally used in “wrath”.
And the next time you read or hear these passages from Revelation, ask yourself if it is all just a story, or an opiate for the masses….
“The devil sends the beast with great wrath, for he knows the time is short… And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth and he had two horns like a lamb and he spoke as a dragon… and he performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven to the earth in the presence of men…And he causes all to be given a mark on their right hand or forehead, and he “PROVIDES” that no one should be able to buy or sell, except the one who has the mark. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding reckon the number of the beast, for it is a human number. Its number is 666.”

Possession. Will you trust in a computer’s ability to provide for you, or will you trust in God?
